Get to Know Us
The Harvard Undergraduate Austrian German Association (HUAGA) seeks to provide a space for students at Harvard with Austrian and German cultural backgrounds. Our mission consists of three components
Connect
HUAGA helps students stay in touch with their home country by creating a community away from home. Through regular meetings and events, we aim to preserve the crucial link back home. We also connect German & Austrian companies with students looking for employment opportunities back home after they complete their Harvard education
Exchange
HUAGA provides a forum for incoming German & Austrian Harvard students to be mentored by students who are further along in their academic careers. Weekly dinners foster a sense of community and provide a supportive network for all members.

Discuss
In line with Harvard's motto "Veritas," HUAGA wants to create a space for honest discussions on topics ranging from German politics to geopolitical developments and economic policy. We regularly invite German & Austrian Professors to our meetings to enrich our conversations and provide scholarly takes on a variety of topics.
